The lovely once said,
When I get to crossroads in my life, for some reason I find myself turning back to Labyrinth. It's my way of centering myself, and it's cheaper than therapy.

I couldn't agree more.

I'm in need of some cheap therapy today for reasons that I won't bore you all with. There's something comforting in throwing back your mind to a story line that is so familiar, to a world you swear you know every pathway through. It's more than the prospect of love or adventure, it's the need for the familiar, protecting embrace of creatures who know you well- whether that be a dominating male figure who will gladly make all of your desicions for you, or the companionship of a dwarf who just wants to be accepted for who he is, cowardnice and all.

Enjoy some of my all time favorites, as well as some newer pieces of Labyrinth-goodness that should make us all smile.

For the first time in years today I watched "Clash of the Titans"- wow, what a movie! Despite the early 80s (1981 to be exact) struggling special effects the story line was great and the acting was pretty darn good. Thumbs up in my book. PLUS there's a remake due out next year. Fingers crossed that they don't ruin it.

I'm officially in my 6th month of pregnancy and boy is running around trying to do promotional work or any kind of photos getting tougher and tougher. Pulling an extra 20 lbs around on your stomach is hard work, and while I'm glad that mean he's healthy it doesn't do much for my stamina.

are getting used locally, as well as all over their web site [link] It's mighty flattering to have your images used so publically.

And I was at the Third Annual Pheonix Faerie Festival this last weekend

Photos from that are going to the PR person as well, so hopefully those should be on their web site, etc. soon.

That and we bought a house! I'm going to try real hard in the next month to get outside in the great weather with some models to take some more artistic photos- I miss the creativity! In the mean time I have started a sort of crafty blog, [link] Just a way to suggest creative ideas for the holidays and also show case some non-photo art work.

Is providing me with some great distraction and several good chuckles. Even if you haven't read the original Jane Austen novel (which, by the way, I recommend you do), you'll still find humor in the bizarre way they discuss the "unmentionables" all while throwing balls. "Pentagram of Death!"- sold me with those three words.

And I'm very please to show you all that the "skull" idea is growing nicely and turning into some real fun



The "Family" one and the white background holiday themed one, are both available through DA for greeting card and post card purchase. I think that they are marvelous!
